Mission Statement

The Native American Outreach Office assists Michigan Tech in meeting its obligation to the educational needs of Native American and other underrepresented students. The University has a commitment to supporting a diverse educational environment for all students.

  • Admissions Procedures

  • Completion of Financial Aid Forms & Native-specific scholarship opportunities

  • Selecting Classes

  • Identifying a Major

  • Understanding how policies and procedures affect you

  • Contacting your Tribe

  • Identification of services to help you solve academic and/or personal problems

  • Meeting other Native American students on campus

  • Finding a study partner

  • Learning more about campus life and services

  • Locating a roommate

  • Participating in Special Events
