The Seaman Mineral Museum is located on the 5th floor of the EERC building. It is the official mineralogical museum of Michigan, displaying over 20,000 minerals that are free to view by MTU students, faculty and staff. Guided tours are also available by appointment. In addition to the mineral displays, you can find out about where and how the minerals were made as well as their role in history. The gift shop has many wonderful minerals available for all budgets.
